The jagged Big Sur coastline is home to ever-changing microclimates which feature fog and wildflowers. This is one of the few places on Earth where redwoods grow within sight of cacti.

Moody Beach Woman

Moody Beach Woman
The morning fog and low clouds typical along the beach in Southern California during late spring and early summer ultimately burn off later in the day. I love the cool beach temperatures as well as the drama in the sky as the roiling mist evaporates from the penetrating sun.
