Ventura Beach WWII Artillery Site
This historic coastal artillery site used to be above the beach in WWII. The rising sea has overcome the site. It’s often below water and sometimes not even visible at low tide, buried beneath the sand. In fact, there’s two artillery rings near each other, but today, the other one was below the sand and cobblestones.
